Idolize the man-made heaven cutters.
Worship the fast-food franchises.
Dream of that perfect apartment.
Love thee sweet jealousy.
Fill yourself up on the adrenaline
of violence and lies against others.
Ignore respect for people
Take what they deserve.
Believe in democracy,
Bow down to corruption,
Love thee temptation,
Lay awake riddled with sin.
My elegy of religion,
That no ones atheist
That the one who say no god,
Idolize the symbols of deceit.
A New York Worshiper;
Worshiping the streets.

I wrote this on saturday while just thinking, I am not sure what came over me I just felt like writing. I have never wrote a religious piece of writing before. This just came out but I am glad it did, I enjoyed writing it and enjoy having it posted on another site and hopefully you will enjoy reading it.
